- 3" 4-sided moulding
- 4" 4-sided moulding
- Beauti-Tone Trim & Door paint
Here’s How
Baseboard: Shim base with 3" tall blocks cut from moulding, and nail at 16" centres. Nail the 3" moulding at the top of blocks. Nail 4" moulding on face of blocks. Apply the moulding wall pattern as desired. Shown: 24" space between verticals, and rail moulding was placed 5’ high. Paint the entire wall one colour.
The Crowning Touch
Look up! Your ceiling is a diamond in the rough. A common ceiling becomes a palatial space with the simple addition of crown moulding. For a grandeur style, incorporate less expensive mouldings with a routed edge MDF.

- 1" thick MDF (cut to desired size, and router a profile on one edge)

Here’s how
Nail MDF in place on wall and ceiling. Attach crown moulding over top. Paint the entire crown one colour.
From Blah to Awe!
Take basic baseboards that are functional but lack architectural interest and transform them into a gorgeous high-end accent. Simply stack inexpensive mouldings leaving some wall space in between, and paint everything one colour. Neighbours will think you won the lottery!

Here’s how
Nail baseboard in place. Leave the wall space you desire, then nail door stop in place. Paint the entire baseboard one colour.
Be Inspired
For a higher baseboard, leave a smaller wall space above the door stop, and nail another door stop in place. Play with different moulding combinations.
